Erect flat stem, 2 sickle-shaped leaves. Leaves flat, 2–3 times longer than stem, bending to one side. Flowers 10–30 in clustered head, deep rosy pink, occasionally pale pink or dirty white, petals pointed, 3 low appendages attached to ovary. Grows on heavy, rocky serpentine, low to high elevations.
