Blue Mountain Onion
Erect single flowering stem. Leaves paired, equal to or taller than flowering stem, green at flowering. Flowers short, widely bell-shaped, white or pink with green midrib, with 6 low, curving, smooth-edged appendages on ovary. Grows in moist, heavy soils at high elevations. More common and smaller than A. brandegeei, which looks similar.
