Erect, hairy, glandular. Stems 1 to several, unbranched. Leaves 2–3 pairs, entire, widely oval to round, with short petioles; leaf blade forming wings continues down both sides of petiole. Flowers heads with 6–11 ray flowers surrounding glandular disk. Grows in forests, meadows, at high elevations.
