Aster radulinus
Rough-Leaved Aster
Erect stems with large leaves. Stems, leaves covered with rough hairs. Leaves mostly with petioles, 1–4 in. long, widely oval, firm, sharply toothed. Flower heads held in cyme, each with 10–15 white or light purple ray flowers and yellow disk; cup bracts have purple edges. Grows in dry woods, forests, at low elevations.
