Large-Flowered Cryptantha
Upright branched annual covered with rough sharp hairs. Leaves linear to narrowly lance-shaped, 1/2–2 in. long, mostly near base and alternate on stem. Flowers well spaced on uncoiling stem top. Flowers to 1/3 in. across, white with bright yellow eye. Grows in dry, sandy or rocky places at low to high elevations.
