Pink Fawn Lily
Flower stem erect from pair of mottled basal leaves. Leaves 4–10 in., with smooth to wavy edges, mottled with white or brown. Stem carries raceme of 1–3 flowers. Flowers nodding, rose-pink with band of yellow in center, 4 sac-like appendages at base of the 3 true petals, filament section of stamens flattened. Grows in open to dense woods, along rivers, in meadows, from coast to low elevations.
