Bird's-Beak Lousewort
Clump of erect stems from basal leaves. Leaves mostly basal, with petioles, divided into short toothed lobes; few stem leaves smaller. Flowers rose to purple, clustered with shorter leafy bracts in short hairy head atop stem. Flower upper lip bent at right angle, with beak pointing outward like a baby bird; shorter lower lip 3-lobed, spreading. Grows in moist subalpine and alpine meadows.
