Stream Saxifrage
Tuft of nearly round leaves, erect flower stalks. Leaves 1–3 in. across, evenly sharp-toothed, with glands on tips; petioles hairless, 1 1/2–3 in. long. Inflorescence purplish, to 12 in. long, widely spreading, with flowers on stalk tips. Flower sepals reflex about equal to petals; petals round, white, with 2 greenish yellow dots; calyx pink to purplish; anthers purple. Grows in wet meadows, edges of streams and lakes, at low to subalpine elevations.
