Pyramid Spiraea

Erect to spreading shrub. Leaves on upper section coated with crisp hairs. Leaves oblong, 1–3 in. long, entire or toothed above middle. Inflorescence is conical or pyramid-shaped, about 2 times as long as wide, crowded with white flowers, buds may be slightly pink. Flower sepals reflexed, petals small and round. Grows in bottoms of valleys along streambanks, moist to dry places in canyons, at low to mid-elevations.
