Macloskey Violet

Upright plants forming patches from running roots. Leaves round to kidney-shaped, very thin, entire or slightly toothed. Flowers white, with upper 2 petals often curving back so the tips almost touch. The 2 side petals sometimes bearded. Lower 3 petals purple-veined, turning creamy white toward base. Spur white. Grows near seeps and slow-moving water at mid- to high elevations.
