Canadian Fleabane
Single, erect, stiff-haired, leafy stem. Leaves alternate, to 4 in. long, entire or shallowly scalloped. Flower heads in large branched cyme clustered at branch ends. Flowers with very short white petals, cup 1/8 in. in diameter, resinous bracts with brown midvein. Grows in disturbed soils, roadsides, around the world usually in low-elevation sites.
