Blue Mountain Prairie-Clover
Cluster of erect stems. Plant hairless. Leaves pinnately divided into 5–7 leaflets. Leaflets egg-shaped, 1/3–3/4 in. long, dotted with glands. Flower head is a crowded cylinder-shaped spike; calyx with long silky hairs; flowers rose to lavender. Seedpod enclosed by calyx, has single seed. Grows in dry, rocky or sandy soils at low to mid elevations.
