Purple-Stemmed Monkeyflower
Plant creeping or climbing, hairy, often slimy. Stems purplish. Leaves oval, rounded at base, toothed. Flower together with its long stalk is longer than leaves, yellow with red spots in throat. Grows in wet seeps, crevices, especially on granite, along streams, at mid elevations, higher to the south.
