Tiny tuft, slightly hairy. Upright stems, branched in larger plants. Leaves oval, more or less purple underneath, with rounded tips. Flowers with 2 upper lobes larger than 3 lower lobes; tube floor with 2 yellow stripes, surrounded with purple-rose dots and lines. Grows on sandy or bare soils at mid to high elevations.
