Meadow Nemophila

Prostrate. Leaves oblong to egg-shaped, opposite, with petioles shorter than leaf, divided pinnately, 5–9 lobes. Single flower on stalk same length as nearby leaf. Flower bell- to bowl-shaped, petals white or blue, usually veined or center dotted with darker color or tips spotted purple. Grows on bluffs in grass, sandy places, woods, streambanks along coast and inland to high elevations.
