Cluster of erect hairless stems with basal leaves. Leaves lance-shaped, cut to many toothed segments, stem leaves few, smaller. Inflorescence dense with leaf-like bracts shorter than flowers. Flowers yellow to cream, upper lip of flower gently curving, tip beakless or with short straight beak, lower lobes small, flower throat large. Grows only in a few locations within Mount Rainier National Park on moist, north-facing, subalpine and alpine slopes, often near streams.
