Short-Spurred Rein Orchid

Stem erect, with small flowers. Basal leaves oval, 3–4 in. long. Stem with small flowers, widely spaced or denser at top. Flowers scentless or musky, green; upper sepal pointing up or forward; lower petal wider than the others, hanging down but with tip pointing upward; short spur extending backward toward stem but not crossing it. Grows in dry places in mixed forests at low to mid elevations. The species is named for Unalaska, an island in the Aleutian chain.
