Short Leaved Cinquefoil
Small mats hairy, yellow-green. Leaves deeply cut, usually with 3–7 nearly round crinkly leaflets crowded on stems 2–6 in. long. Smaller leaves on 2–4 in. flower stems. Flowers small in gland-sticky calyx; petals yellow, nearly round. Grows on exposed slopes near melting snow banks at high elevations in eastern Oregon. Found in Wallowa Mountains and Steens Mountain.
