Long-Stalked Starwort
Ascending to erect, hairless. Stems with evenly spaced leaves. Leaves sessile, stiff, narrowly lance-shaped, 1/2–1 in. long, smooth, shiny. Flowers white, 1–7 at stem tips on long erect stalks. Sepals 5, small, with pointed tips, 5 slightly longer petals divided into 2 lobes. Grows along streams, in seeps, moist to wet meadows, at high elevations. Circumboreal.
