Yellow Aster Butte, Mt. Baker Wilderness

Yellow Aster Butte trail is reached from the Twin Lakes Road off Mt. Baker Highway east of Bellingham. After climbing through the forest there's an open bowl and then a patch of serpentine with interesting plants.
